We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team in designing and building a product that processes, normalizes, and visualizes large-scale data from various sources. The ideal candidate should have experience with data processing frameworks (Pandas, Dask) and be capable of designing data normalization pipelines. Additionally, the candidate will work closely with product developers to build customizable dashboards for data insights and comparisons..
Product Developer Responsibilities
- Design and implement data cleaning and normalization pipelines using tools like Pandas, Dask, and NumPy.
- Analyze data from various formats (system logs, databases, Excel, XML, JSON) and develop methods for data ingestion and processing.
- Implement historical data management and comparison algorithms to visualize trends and anomalies.
- Work with visualization tools like Bokeh, Dash, or Plotly to create interactive, customizable dashboards.
- Collaborate with the backend and frontend teams to integrate data models into the product.
- Develop AI/ML models for trend analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics using tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Provide insights for exporting and reporting data with embedded visualizations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and machine learning.
- Assist in automating data tasks and optimizing performance for large datasets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to collect feedback and iterate on the data models and visualizations.
Qualifications and Skillset
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python and data processing libraries like Pandas, Dask, and NumPy.
- Experience with data visualization libraries like Bokeh, Plotly, or Dash.
- Expertise in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) for analytics and modeling.
- Familiarity with handling bulk data from multiple formats (Excel, JSON, XML, CSV, system logs).
- Experience working with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) for data storage and management.
- Strong understanding of data normalization techniques and statistical methods.
- Ability to collaborate with developers, design teams, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
